A little care helps preserve the finish, detail and beauty of your jewellery. Because each piece is made from its own combination of materials and finishes, these simple habits are a good place to start. Always follow any care instructions provided with your individual design.
Everyday care
Wear with intention
Apply perfume, lotions and other beauty products before putting on your jewellery, and allow them to dry. Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping, and avoid chlorine, household cleaners, harsh chemicals and prolonged exposure to moisture.
For a little extra care, put your jewellery on last when getting ready and remove it first at the end of the day.
Cleaning
Keep the finish looking its best
Gently wipe your jewellery with a clean, soft, dry cloth after wear. Avoid abrasive cloths, polishing compounds and chemical jewellery cleaners unless they are specifically suitable for your piece.
For designs featuring pearls, gemstones, crystals or other delicate details, take extra care and avoid soaking. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners unless the care guidance for your specific piece confirms they are suitable.
Gold-plated & PVD finishes
Protect the surface
Gold-plated and PVD-finished pieces have a surface finish that can gradually change with friction, chemicals and repeated exposure to moisture. Store pieces separately to reduce rubbing and scratching, and handle them gently when putting them on or taking them off.
Storage
A place for every piece
Store jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Keep pieces in separate pouches or compartments to help prevent tangling and scratches, and fasten chains before storing to help minimise knots.

Every piece is different
Materials respond differently to wear and care. Water resistance, tarnish resistance and finish durability vary by design, so no piece should be assumed to be waterproof or tarnish-proof unless its product details specifically say so.
